Our desire:

Here at Norfolk Garden Baptist it is our desire to see the gospel being preached to the whole world. Christ gives us that responsibility to be involved in any way we can. So, we count it a joy to be a part of seeing the GOOD NEWS going forth in 13 different countries. There is still many who haven't even heard of the gospel and so we continue to labor till His return.

Our Strategy

 1. The church's involvement in world evangelism is planned and projected through a strategic analysis of:

Personal - The church works with and through those individuals and organizations who are of like faith, commitment and practice.
Geography - The church puts top priority on working in those areas which have had little or no exposure to the gospel.
Methods - The church seeks to use those methods which have the highest ratio of effectiveness to total cost.

 2. Individual missionaries through whom the church works are chosen on the basis of compatibility between the church and the missionary in the areas of doctrinal belief, Christian practice and ministry priorities.

The list could go on....So take part in our missions program and be a part of seeing God work in lives all across the globe.

Mission Objectives

  1. To learn the Biblical basis for a world mission effort.
  2. To become more aware of what yet needs to be done in the task of global outreach and evangelism.
  3. To get immediatly involved in the world missions effort through prayer, personal encouragement to foreign staff, financial support and to promote long term commitments for personal service overseas.
